BRUNE
Using BRUNE

Trading

Buy and sell any BRUNE Rune from its page, with your own wallet, in about a second.

Buying and selling

Open any Rune from Runes and use the Buy / Sell panel:

  1. Choose Buy or Sell, and pay or receive in BNB or BTCB.
  2. Enter an amount. BRUNE shows a live quote of what you will receive, simulated on chain from your own wallet.
  3. Approve the transaction in your wallet. Selling needs one extra free signature (a permit) so the trade can move your tokens.

Trades go straight to the Flap Portal (on the bonding curve) or to the coin's PancakeSwap pool (after graduation). BRUNE never holds your tokens, not even for a moment.

Paying with BNB

Every BRUNE coin is paired with BTCB, so its price is always in Bitcoin. You do not need to hold any BTCB:

  • Buy with BNB: your BNB is converted to BTCB through PancakeSwap, and the BTCB buys the coin, in one transaction.
  • Sell for BNB: the BTCB from the sale is converted back to BNB in that same transaction.

It is all or nothing: if any part fails, the whole trade is cancelled and your funds stay in your wallet.

Price protection

Every trade has a minimum received, by default set 1% below the quote (you can pick 0.5%, 1% or 3%). If the price moves more than that before your trade lands, for example because someone traded just before you, the transaction fails and you keep your funds.

Fees

On the bonding curve each trade pays 2%, on buys and sells: Flap's 1% curve fee and the coin's 1% tax. For a coin whose creator keeps the fees:

Goes toShare of the trade
The coin's creator0.25%
BRUNE0.65%
Flap (curve fee + its share of the tax)1.1%

After graduation a trade pays 1.25%: PancakeSwap's 0.25% pool fee and the same 1% tax, split the same way. Coins that route their fees or pay their holders split the tax differently; see Fees.

A quarter of BRUNE's share buys back $BRUNE and burns it. See $BRUNE.

Two coins can share a name and ticker. Always check the CA (copy it from the coin page) before you trade.

After a coin graduates, it trades on its PancakeSwap pool instead of the curve, still from its BRUNE page.
