Creator fees
Launch a Rune and earn a share of every trade on it, for as long as it trades.
How much you earn
The wallet that launches a coin is its creator. By default the creator earns 0.25% of every trade, buys and sells alike, on the curve and after graduation, paid in BTCB.
Example: if your coin trades ₿1 of volume, you earn ₿0.0025.
Fees are collected in the coin's own fee vault, a contract created with the coin whose split is fixed forever. They wait there until you claim them, and never expire.
Claiming
- Connect the wallet you launched with.
- Open Account.
- Under Creator fees, every coin you launched shows its Earned and Ready to claim amounts.
- Click Claim and approve in your wallet. The BTCB goes straight to that wallet.
Each claim is one BNB Chain transaction per coin. You pay only the network fee.
Route fees to others
When you create a coin you can choose Route to others instead of keeping the fees. You pick up to 10 recipients: BNB Chain wallets, GitHub accounts or Bitcoin addresses, each with a share in percent (the shares add up to 100%).
- Each trade still pays 2%: 0.67% goes to your recipients; the rest is BRUNE and Flap fees. The exact split is on Fees.
- The recipients are locked at launch in the coin's fee vault: nobody can change them, not even you or BRUNE.
- A wallet recipient claims its BTCB from Account, like a creator.
- A GitHub recipient clicks Sign in with GitHub on the Account page once (after signing a short message with their wallet). From then on its fees are paid to that wallet.
- A Bitcoin address (bc1q, bc1p, 1 or 3) never claims: it is paid in real BTC automatically, every 15 minutes once it is owed ₿0.0001, less the Bitcoin network fee and a 1% conversion fee. Each payout shows on the coin page with its link.
- Fees nobody claims wait for them forever.
Pay your holders
The third choice, To holders, sends the creator fees to the coin's holders, in BTC, automatically.
- Each trade pays 2%: 0.503% goes to the holders and 0.168% buys back and burns $BRUNE; the rest is BRUNE and Flap fees. Also after graduation.
- On BNB Chain, the holders' share is paid in BTCB by the coin's Flap dividend contract, pro rata to every wallet holding at least 10,000 tokens. It accrues on chain; anyone can trigger the payout, and Flap's bot pushes it automatically once a holder is owed about $4.
- On Bitcoin, the share earned by the tokens locked in the bridge (the Rune held on Bitcoin) goes to the top 100 holders of the Rune on Bitcoin, every hour, in BTC, by balance × time held: hold more and longer, earn more. Selling some keeps your holding time for what is left; selling everything starts it again.
- On Bitcoin, BRUNE's own addresses (custody, bridge deposits, treasuries) and addresses above 4% of the supply are not counted, and a balance counts only when two independent Rune indexers agree on it.
- BTC is sent to each Bitcoin address automatically once it is owed 1,000 sats (smaller amounts wait, never lost).
- Every round, who was credited and the Bitcoin payouts are public on the Rune page.
- Locked at launch, like a route. The creator earns as a holder too.
